MAYFIELD.DOC

Here is a sample input data file for program MAYFIELD. The first number represents the band (or Id) number. This number is ignored by the program. The 'C' represents the day of first capture. 'A' represents a day in which the individual was observed. 'N' or 'H' represent a day which mortality occurred. '-' represent days when no observation took place for that animal.

To run program MAYFIELD, use the DOS symbols '<' and '>' to

redirect input and output files. (eg.

mayfield <mayfield.dat >mayfield.out

This would run program mayfield using mayfield.dat for input and sending the output to mayfield.out.
