This website is designed to allow comparisons of analyses. For each region, comparative analyses are provided by species of:
(1) 1966 - 2006 results for analysis based on BBS strata.
(2) 1966 - 2006 results for analysis based on BCR strata.
(3) 1966 - 2005 results for analysis based on BCR strata.
This permits comparisons of results:
(1) between last year to this year (using the BCR strata analyses), and
(2) between BBS-strata based analysis and BCR-based strata analysis.

NOTE: I have modified the "warning lights" to show these patterns:
RED: Significant difference between BBS and BCR strata in 1966-2006 results
YELLOW Significant difference between BCR strata in 1966-2006 and 1966 - 2005 results
(red has precidence over yellow, when both differences are significant) One warning comment: The BCR analysis contains some survey routes that were historically not included in the BBS strata analysis, hence sample sizes are slightly larger for Canadian provinces in the BCR analysis.
Another comment: I have deactivated the annual indexes, so the links associated with the species names return a "no data" message.
