These species accounts provide a means of linking information for a species. From the accounts, any species information can be accessed. As now presented, the species accounts only provide these links, and brief information on how we categorize the species with respect to a few groupings of management interest.
These groupings are:
Breeding Habitat:Grassland, Wetland/Open Water, Successional/Scrub, Woodland, or Urban.
Nest Type:Cavity Nesting, or Open-cup Passerine.
Migration Category:Short-distance, Neotropical, or Non-migratory.
Nest Location:Ground/Low-nesting Passerine (and cuckoos), or Mid-story/Canopy-nesting Passerines.
Note that species that do not fit into these categories are designated with a N/A grouping.
